Piccolo Me was never just about coffee. It was about family, heritage, and the kind of passion that is passed down from one generation to the next.
Built on strong Lebanese roots and the love for قهوة , Piccolo Me has always been about more than just coffee, it’s about culture, connection and innovation. The culture of Piccolo Me is that we are trend-setters, market leaders and visionaries.
It all started with Harry. Born and raised in Lebanon, he found his passion for hospitality early on. He studied hospitality in Lebanon, mastering the art of service, and spent years working in the airline industry across the Middle East. With this experience, Harry understood that hospitality was more than just a job—it was about making people feel welcome, creating experiences, and bringing joy through food and coffee. Every experience deepened his love for service, and when he moved to Australia in 1983, he brought that passion with him.
Harry worked hard, building a career that revolved around the hospitality industry. His love for what he did was impossible to miss, and it didn’t take long for his sons, Charlie and Roy, to follow in his footsteps. From the kitchens to the counters, they immersed themselves in the world of hospitality, learning every detail, every skill, and every lesson their father had to offer. And then, together, they built Piccolo Me.
What started as a small café quickly grew into something bigger—a brand loved for its playful take on coffee, its creative menu, and its ability to make people feel at home.
But for the family, something was still missing. Lebanon….
For Harry, expanding Piccolo Me to Lebanon was never just about business—it was personal. The decision to open a store in Lebanon was driven by a deep connection to his roots, his family, and a desire to give back to the community in a
meaningful way.
The location in Dbayeh was carefully chosen by Alain, his business partner in Lebanon, ensuring that it would serve both the local community and visitors from abroad.
But beyond strategic location choices, this expansion was about something far greater. Being of Lebanese heritage, Harry felt a deep responsibility to give back to the community in Lebanon—not just through support, but by creating real
opportunities. He wanted to build something that would provide stable jobs and long-term security for the people who needed it most.
When we decided to bring Piccolo Me to Lebanon, we knew we wanted to bring more than just coffee. We wanted to introduce something fresh, something that fits the people’s lifestyle and energy. That’s why we’re also bringing SolBowl, a brand created by our Lebanese partner, Lilly Semaan.
Good food should be fresh, full of flavour, and make you feel good—without being boring. That’s exactly why Lilly Semaan created SolBowl.
Growing up in Sydney’s West, Lilly wanted something different. She was always looking for meals that were wholesome but didn’t feel like a compromise, something packed with real ingredients, bold flavours, and colour.
At SolBowl, every dish is made with fresh, nourishing ingredients that don’t just fuel your body but actually taste amazing.
Our offering includes Acai, Smoothie Bowls & Energising Smoothies.
